Would You Consider Abortion in These Four Situations?

1. There is a preacher and wife who are very, very poor. They already have 14 kids. Now she finds out she is pregnant with her 15th. They are living in tremendous poverty. Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending abortion?

2. The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB. They have 4 children. The first is blind, the second is dead. The third is deaf and the fourth has TB. The mother finds she is pregnant again. Given the extreme situation, would you recommend abortion?

3. A man raped a 13 year old girl and she got pregnant. If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

4. A teenage girl is pregnant. She is not married. Her fiancee is not the father of the baby, and he is very upset. Would you recommend an abortion?

If you have answered “yes” to any of these situations:

In the first case you would have killed John Wesley, one of the great evangelists of the 18th century.

In the second case, you would have killed Beethoven.

In the third case you would have killed Ethel Waters, the great gospel singer.

In the fourth case you would have recommended the murder of Jesus Christ.

With U. S. abortion deaths topping 30 million, only God knows what we have sacrificed in lost human talent and creativity.

Very sobering thoughts when you look at it that way.
Since Roe v Wade in the US alone approx. 1/3 of the Gen Xer’s were aborted – and we are left with their wounded mothers and fathers who believed the lies and deception of the world and ultimately the enemy. We can only trust that those babies are with the Lord and possibly look for ways to show truth and bring healing – Jesus – to those wounded mothers and fathers.

    very sobering indeed!

How about this one, you have an alcoholic, heroin-addicted mother, who has schizophrenia and has spent time in and out of institutions. She has had at least six other children, all in foster care. She makes her living by prostituting herself. She is pregnant again probably by a john. Do you abort the child?

    Yes-well you just killed me!

Thank goodness, with all my birth mother’s faults she still chose to give me life and put me up for adoption. But according to the liberals because of her sins, I am not worthy of life.

Here is another one. You have a poor, Black mother. She is epileptic, has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. The doctors have told her all her life that her child will developmentally delayed because of the medication she takes. The father doesn’t want the child and she will be raising the child alone. Do you abort the child?

Yes-well you just killed my son. And the smartest person I have ever met. So much for him being born “retarded.” He is five years old and is already doing addition in his head, but yeah doctors are always right.
