~Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Our country is getting there, isn’t it? Prayer has been taken out of schools. The Lord’s Name is not revered but a curse word on the lips of men. There’s a church on every street corner, practically, but our country is more depraved than ever! Sin is rampant. Men call evil good and good evil! But all this was foretold in God’s Word and we should be quick to read it and learn from it.

Without God’s Word, man will get much worse. Depravity will worsen and we will be destroyed.

~Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

It’s not too late… we can turn this around.

~2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

You’re absolutely right dear sister….it is not too late…we can turn it around!!! I love the promise God gives us in 2 Chron. 7:14. Let us all take a stand for righteousness no matter the cost.

(1 Peter 4:17) also comes to mind: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
