Was Jesus Christ a Racist?

Jesus Christ, Himself a Jew, brought salvation according to the prophecies of the Old Testament. His salvation did not just come to the Jews but to all men. There are no verses to be found in God’s Word to say that only a certain race of people can be saved. We all came from Adam and Eve, my friend. We are all God’s creation. Therefore, how can bigots say they are the one true race – the better race – the ones that God chose? How can these comments be proven? Only the Word of God, the Holy Bible, contains our answers.

~Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

~John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

~John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

~John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

~John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

~Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

~Romans 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

~Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

~1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Just who is covered under the word whosoever?

~Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

~Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

~Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

~Colossians 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

The reference to Greek here means anyone who is not Jewish; also referred to as a Gentile. The point of the matter is that Jesus did not discriminate. He died for all!

Why then does the world view itself in different shades of color? Why does it exist even amongst so-called Christians? The fact of the matter is that the true born-again believer, who is in the Word of God, will see that discrimination cannot exist with God’s children. The children of God are equal in God’s eyes for He died for all of us.

Obama and his wife do not believe this way. They claim christianity yet their views are far from what Christ taught. They most definitely see color. The news is filled with what their views are on this subject. Why is this? There are no colors with Christ. There are no colors with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have walked into a building filled with born-again Christians who were of a different race than I, yet I was welcomed with opened arms. The same is true for the church I belong to. People of different ethnic backgrounds are members and we are all family. We worship our Saviour with unity. Color is not a barrier but a link in the chain that binds us into the family of God.

Shame on anyone who calls himself Christian and yet holds to beliefs like the Obamas! Shame on anyone who calls himself Christian and yet is a bigot and thinks himself better than anyone else!
