It’s funny how we don’t hear about any of this on national news!

Who Are Barack And Michelle Obama?
February 21, 2008 – Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) is expected to become the Democrat candidate for President of the United States. After an unbroken string of wins in primary battle against Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Obama appears to be unbeatable among Democrats. As the race between Obama and Senator John McCain (R-AZ) becomes more certain, it is essential that voters understand exactly what Barack and his wife Michelle believe in – and what they plan for America if elected as President and First Lady.
As more information becomes available about this first-term Senator with no discernible accomplishments in the Senate, the more concerned voters are becoming.
A Communist Mentor?
One of the latest revelations about Senator Obama was published this week by Cliff Kincaid, an investigative journalist with Accuracy in Media, a conservative media watchdog group.
Kincaid’s article, “Obama’s Communist Mentor” describes the close relationship that Barack Obama developed with Frank Marshall Davis while Obama lived in Hawaii from 1971-1979.
Davis was a member of the Communist Party, USA and gave Obama advice on career choices. He was a contemporary of Richard Wright and Langston Hughes when he lived in Chicago. In Obama’s book, Dreams From My Father, he writes about “Frank and his old Black Power dashiki self.”
Professor Gerald Horne, a contributing editor to the Communist Party journal Political Affairs, described Davis as having influenced Obama’s sense of identity and career moves. According to Horne, Obama retraced the steps of Davis by eventually moving to Chicago.
A Black Power Mentor?
In Chicago, Obama became a community organizer and began attending Trinity Church of Christ, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright, Jr.
Rev. Wright operates what the church web site describes as an Afro-centric church. Wright is a Black Power advocate who received inspiration from Dr. James Cone, who pioneered the concept of Black Power when he published Black Power and Black Theology in 1969. Cone is a contributing editor to Sojourners Journal, a far-left publication run by Rev. Jim Wallis.
Rev. Wright has a record of making anti-Israel comments in his sermons and in December 2007, he awarded his friend, Minister Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam, his lifetime achievement award.
Wright and Farrakhan traveled to Libya in 1984 to visit with terrorist dictator Muammar el-Qaddafi.
Senator Obama admits having been mentored by Dr. Wright, but has recently distanced himself from Wright when the pastor’s connections to the Nation of Islam were revealed in the conservative press.
Sen. Obama has rejected Wright’s anti-Jewish statements, but he employs members of the Nation of Islam (NOI) on his staff. According to columnist Debbie Schlussel, Obama employed NOI member Cynthia Miller, who served as treasurer of his Senate campaign; he also employs NOI member Jennifer Mason who serves as Obama’s Director of Constituent Services in the U.S. Senate. Mason oversees his internship program.
Nation of Islam leader Farrakhan is rabidly anti-Jewish and anti-White. He has referred to Judaism as a “gutter religion” and said that Whites are only “potential” humans.
One can only wonder why Obama would have followers of Farrakhan on his staff.
A Socialist Mentor?
The Washington Post has reported that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were heavily influenced in their political thinking and organizing by radical activist Saul Alinsky.
Alinsky was a Chicago political organizer who developed leftist strategies for bringing about social change through protests, and the seizing of political power. According to Alinsky, an organizer must “fan the latent hostilities” in people and “he must search out controversy and issues, rather than avoid them.”
In his 1971 book, Rules for Radicals, Alinsky taught his 1960s leftist followers to avoid scaring the Middle Class by cutting their hair, putting on suits and infiltrating the system from within!
Alinsky once boasted: “I feel confident that I could persuade a millionaire on Friday to subsidize a revolution for Saturday out of which he would make a huge profit on Sunday even though he was certain to be executed on Monday.”
At 21, Obama was hired by Alinsky devotees to do political organizing in Chicago.
After spending three years at Harvard Law School, Obama returned to Chicago and taught constitutional law, handled civil rights cases and did community organizing – based on Alinsky’s philosophy.
Sen. Obama’s wife, Michelle, attended Princeton University and apparently developed a sense of racial resentment that continues to this day. Her senior thesis at Princeton was titled “Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community.” Access to her thesis is being blocked by Princeton until after the election.
One portion of her thesis, however, has been revealed by journalist Jacob Laksin. She warned against “further integration and/or assimilation into a White cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.”
Her recent statements indicate that this feeling may not have subsided yet. On February 18, she stated at a political rally: “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country. Not just because Barack is doing well, but I think people are hungry for change.”
Her statement resulted in a firestorm of controversy, which was largely ignored by the mainstream liberal press. Days later, she clarified her statement to say that she was proud of how Americans are engaging in the political process.
However, her more recent statements are frightening in their implications for America’s future. In a Hitler-like speech given at UCLA on February 19, Michelle Obama made these statements:
Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.
You have to stay at the seat at the table of democracy with a man like Barack Obama not just on Tuesday but in a year from now, in four years from now, in eights years from now, you will have to be engaged.
We have lost the understanding that in a democracy, we have a mutual obligation to one another — that we cannot measure the greatness of our society by the strongest and richest of us, but we have to measure our greatness by the least of these. That we have to compromise and sacrifice for one another in order to get things done. That is why I am here, because Barack Obama is the only person in this who understands that. That before we can work on the problems, we have to fix our souls. Our souls are broken in this nation.”
Did Michelle Obama misspeak at UCLA or do these comments reveal her true feelings and beliefs about how her husband will rule our nation?
Will a President Obama force Americans to “work” – for what purpose? How will he demand that we reject cynicism? How will he force us to be involved and informed? What will he do to require Americans to “stay at the seat at the table of democracy”?
And, how will Barack Obama fix our souls? Is that the role of the President of the United States?
These are frightening authoritarian statements from the wife of a man who wants to become President of the United States and the Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces.
The Voting Record
Senator Barack Obama is the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate. His voting record and his ratings from conservative and liberal groups show conclusively that the “change” he is advocating for America is hard leftist socialism.
In addition to his consistent far left voting record in the Senate since 2004, Obama has been rated by numerous conservative and liberal groups.
Ratings from liberal groups show: NARAL Pro-Choice America: 100% in 2006; Planned Parenthood: 100% in 2006; Americans United for Separation of Church and State: 100% in 2006; Iranian American Political Action Committee, 100% in 2006; Human Rights Campaign, 89% in 2005-2006.
Ratings from conservative groups: Traditional Values Coalition, 0% in 2008; National Right To Life Committee, 0% in 2005-2006; American Conservative Union, 8% in 2006; Eagle Forum, 0% in 2006; Family Research Council, 0% in 2006.
High Stakes In November
Clearly, the stakes are high in November. The person elected to become our next President of the United States will wield immense power either for good or for evil. The President also serves as Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces during a time of war against Islamic fascism. The President also appoints federal judges, including members of the Supreme Court.
The question American voters must answer is who will best serve in this post for the next four years? Who will best serve our military and who will best pick federal judges?
Who will determine the future course of our nation – potentially for decades to come?
